HISTORY
We have a unique core competency. We work only with attorneys. ASSIGNED COUNSEL® is the only national service that is substantially attorney-owned and managed. Our professional staff includes attorneys with a broad range of careers both in law firms and in-house. Headquartered at the center of the northeast corridor, we continue to expand to new locations across the country.

Co-founder Robert J. Murphy, Jr., Esq., has more than 30 years' experience in the practice of law, including at the corporate general counsel level. Co-founder Joel Adams has over 20 years of CEO experience in the temporary professional staffing industry. Our managers have published several leading articles on contract attorney practice as well as numerous substantive legal works.
